La política colonial española durante la segunda mitad del siglo XIX: modelos teóricos, objetivos y estrategías

The new Spanish liberal government had to rebuild upon new bases the old «pacto colonial», and the process gerated mounting tensions between various oligarchic colonial and domestic groups. This gave way to the creation of several theoretical alternative models about the organization of the metropolis colony relationships. The discussion on these models shall influence the colonial policies enforced by Spain during the XIXth Century.
