Jaume Vicens i Vives e la “nova historia”
Abstract
Jaume Vicens i Vives and the “Nova Historia”
This research is mainly intended to demonstrate that the influence wielded over Jaume Vicens Vives by the “Annales” school surely became remarkable after the 9th International Congress for Historical Studies which took place in Paris in 1950, but the historian had actually developed a new history theory (and practice, which was in some aspects revolutionary) quite long before.
