Storiografia e banditismo: introduzione allo stato della questione

It is a short introductory essay which gives the state of the question on the topic of social banditry. Through a sketchy description of the broad outlines of the analysis of social banditry as a historical phenomenon, the Author shows the different ways of how to confront the social banditry problem and how to distinguish the «social» contents of the unlawful behaviour of the subjects from the normal criminal conduct of members of the underworld.
