Abstract

El exilio de los afrancesados. Reflexiones en torno al Real Decreto de 30 de mayo de 1814

The essay, which is only a minor part of a wide-embracing investigation on the subject, shows the premises and the circumstances surrounding the enactment of the Real decreto of May 30, 1814, which foresaw the final exile for thousands of afrancesados (the supporters of the French during the Napoleonic occupation of Spain), and also the immediate reactions following its publication.
