The movie trade between Spain and Italy in early Francoism (1940-1960). The Spanish view
In the Fifties the need for each country to capitalize on its movie production by means of export results in bilateral agreements aimed at securing a market share abroad. Since 1948, Spain and Italy had been signing theirs, which turned to be highly beneficial and profitable for both movie industries.
