The “Vindicación Feminista” Struggle During the Spanish Transition: Linguistic and Legal Aspects
This paper focuses on “Vindicación Feminista”, one of the most important magazines published during the Spanish Transition, and on the struggle that its authors undertook for the abolition of laws that discriminated against women during Fran- co’s dictatorship and for the achievement of legal equality in the drafting of the new Constitution of 1978. To this end, the evolution of the corresponding legislative texts and the language that the authors used and demanded in the drafting of these texts for greater visibility of the female gender are examined.
