El discurso del antifranquismo sobre la cuestión regional- nacional en la revista “Cuadernos para el diálogo” (1963-1975)

The journal “Cuadernos para el Diálogo”, when it was a monthly paper (1963- 1975) and notwithstanding the official censorship, dealt on the national-regional problem in many of its articles and editorials, starting from a cultural perspective which evolved towards an explicit political stance. Studying the contents of the journal about this matter, we see that the opinions of the anti-Franco opposition about regional nationalisms was much more complex than it appears from the official party programmes. The 1978 Constitution was the result not only of pressures alien to the political debate but also of the compromise between these distinct political cultures.
