Resumen

Theatre and the Spanish Civil War. The De Urgencia dramaturgie language

Nuevo retablo de las maravillas by Rafael Dieste and Rafael Alberti’s Radio Sevilla are the two plays taken in this essay as examples of the theatre written during the Spanish Civil War by Republican intellectuals, and called — after Rafael Alberti’s idea — teatro de urgencia The study emphasises, first of all, the close connection between entertainment and propaganda, which justifies the choice of the «farce» genre for many of these works, and then observes the ways in which the text’s different components operate, and the relationship between the dramatique technique and the ideological message the Author wanted to put across to the public.
