Marco Puppini

Marco Puppini was contract professor of History of Contemporary Spain at the University of Trieste. Now is vice president of AICVAS (Italian Association of Anti-Fascist Volunteer Fighters in  Spain) with responsibility for the scientific production of the association. He has collaborated with the network of the Institutes of History of the Liberation Movement in Italy, in particular with the Regional Institute of Friuli - Venezia Giulia in Trieste and Friulian Institute in Udine, and with the Gasparini Historical Documentation Center.

He has written several contributions, translated into Spanish, French and Slovenian, on the Italian anti-fascist participation in the civil war and more generally on the Spanish war of 1936 - 1939 and on the history of the worker’s and trade union’s movement and on political emigration in the first half of Twentieth century.
