Michelangela Di Giacomo
Michelangela Di Giacomo (Rome, 1983), PhD and research fellow at the University of Siena, is a historian specialized on contemporary history. Since 2015 she has been designing the permanent exhibition of M9- Museum of the 20th Century (Venice), where she still works in the Research, Development and Educational Department. Her works – focused on comparative studies on internal migrations, political parties, trade unions and urban development in Italy and Spain – won the Prize of the Italian Senate, the Prize of the Presidenza della Repubblica and the one of the National Association of Italian Cities. She was twice scholar at the Institut d'Estudis Catalans, and she recently dedicates his scientific interest to museums and public history. She taught workshops and seminaries at several MA and PhD schools and published in the principals national and international journals on history and museology.
