Abstract
Della transizione linguistica: cinema, media e parole nuove tra storia, psicologia sociale e lessicografia
Beginning with a consideration on the lexicographic literature relating to the words newly entered into usage during Spain transition’s period, the essay studies the relationships between this specialised literature’s features and those of the social and psychological process it protrays, employing as main test stand the Spanish cinema after Franco’s death. The passage from a monoregister monolinguism to a multi-register plurilinguism is distinctively marked by the coexistence of a wide range of communication’s styles, to which it follows immediately that the speakers are compelled to manage effectively the new option’s margins, letting coexist and intermingle together simplification and creativity, modernization and postmodernity.
