    Simone Tepedino is PhD in Humanities for the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia on March 13, 2019. His research interests focus on the processes of building identity and culture related to bullfighting in contemporary Spain, noting the resemblances to romantic-conservative nationalism of the second half of the 19th century. Particular attention is paid to the linguistic, as well as cultural, dimension of these processes, highlighting how discursive strategies play a primary role in the construction of a specific identity.
