The “Violence” at the Origin of the Spanish and Italian Fascist Language
The idea of violence at the origin of Spanish and Italian fascist culture is linked to the collapse of European democracies in the 1920s and 1930s. So, it seems useful to consider both the situation and the history of political violence in the Italy of the early twentieth century and in the Spain of the 1930s. A violence that, unfortunately, on the one hand it happened to be “fascismo-regime”, and on the other it was incorporated in a “santa y justa” civil war. Therefore, we will try to verify if it was only a violence tout court or if it had an ideological and moral character too.
